The British Classic Car Meeting
For 20 years the British Classic Car Meeting has been the great "Classic Car" attraction of the Engadine. To celebrate, the magazine "Classic Driver" presents this year's Jubilee rally route in a series of exclusive and very special photographs.
The on-line Magazine "Classic Driver" has asked the gifted alpine photographer and Curves Magazine publisher to select his finest images of the passes on the rally route of this year's anniversary British Classic Car Meeting St. Moritz. These should help inspire you to be at the start of the Classic to be held from 11th - 14th July, 2013 in St. Moritz.
This year's BCCM Rally takes participants in three groups, with the first stage via the demanding Maloja Pass, to Vicosoprano and back. The second stage of the route is over the long Julier pass to Bivio and back; and the third stage of the rally, regarded as the most beautiful, leads the drivers from St. Moritz up the Albula Pass to an altitude of 2,312metres before returning.
For the first time in the history of the British Classic Car Meetings, the driving and navigational skills of the participants will be tested on three days. In addition, the 20th Anniversary event will be more demanding in the sense of a sports event: for the first time, the drivers will be tested in events with a competitive character.
