In its 73rd year, the Engadin Festival remains faithful to its original concept: well-tried aspects are retained, new elements introduced with creativity and a sound instinct. In all, the festival presents various concerts in the region.

What was launched under the guidance of the Engadine Cavalry and Riding Club is still in existence today. The traditional Concours Hippique horse show has become an integral part of the calendars of all equine sports fans.

The world’s toughest and highest trail run begins in Pontresina and leads through a historic and spectacular mountain landscape. The Swiss Irontrail is 201 km long (125 miles) and so sets a new standard in the trail-running scene.

The spectacular windsurfing and kitesurfing regatta takes place in august on Lake Silvaplana, as does the Engadine windsurfing marathon, the largest and most traditional event of its type.

The 34th Engadine Summer Run (Sils - Samedan 26km) and the 17th Muragl Run (Pontresina - Samedan 11 km). The appeal of this running event lies in the unique and unforgettable scenery.
