Bob Run Skating and Bob Run Skating Kids
Olympia Bob Run St. Moritz - Celerina

Bob Run Skating and Bob Run Skating Kids
Within three weeks, the track builders from the South of Tyrol create it each year anew. The team models the run by hand and thus without big machines. Snow and water are the only building materials – it is done totally without chemistry. For more than hundred years, this 1’722-meter-long ice sculpture excites athletes, fans, spectators and holiday visitors. All in the heart of purest nature.
The Winter Olympics of 1928 and 1948 and the Youth Olympic Games 2020 accorded a high reputation and worldwide standing to the Olympia Bob Run from St. Moritz to Celerina. At the edge of this historical bobsleigh track, you have the possibility to watch the athletes during trainings and competitions in the disciplines monobob, 2-man or 4-man bobsleigh, para sport, skeleton, luge, and bob run skating.
BOB RUN SKATING
Inspired by the shooting of the Willy Bogner film "Fire & Ice", a bob run skating race was held for the first time in 1991: Up to 150 ice hockey players in complete up to 150 ice hockey players in full ice hockey gear roared down the Olympic Bob Run St. Moritz - Celerina at up to 80 km/h and delivered exciting races. In the 2019/20 season, there was a new edition of this unique event after a long interruption. Due to the great success, the event will be held again next winter: Licensed ice hockey players will race along the fastest route from St. Moritz to Celerina for victory in the individual and team rankings. 1722 metres - the race starts every 30 seconds. Come to this unique event.
