Open Doors Engadin - Architecture for all
Following a successful first edition, the event "Open Doors Engadin" will take place for the second time on June 24th and 25th, 2023.
"Open Doors Engadin" is a free of charge event that aims to raise awareness for the architectural heritage of the Bergell and Engadine regions in the Swiss Canton of Graubünden. With its motto ?architecture for all? it follows the "Open House" concept, which, since the 1990s, has been raising awareness for architecture and urban planning as major factors influencing social life worldwide.
Visitors have three options to experience "Open Doors Engadin". They can choose buildings on an interactive map and visit them individually. Moreover, guided walks are offered, which highlight different buildings. The third offering is special tours that focus on a specific architectural facet or personalities of the region.
?Open Doors Engadin? is supported by many volunteers, experts and stakeholders of the region who made it possible to have over 4,000 building visits by over 1,500 people in 2022.
