ANNE-MARIE FLAMMERSFELD: FOREST BATHING
More than a classic walk – it is immersion in nature through all the senses.
Anne-Marie Flammersfeld is a professional coach and experienced athlete who has lived in the Engadin for over 15 years. She was the first woman to win the ultimate ultra-trail "Racing The Planet", a 1'000-kilometre race through four deserts in six states - the Atacama, Gobi, and Sahara, and the frozen desert of Antarctica.
Anne-Maire focuses on well-being, and her expertise as a Sports Scientist, Psychologist and Personal Trainer gives a very tailored approach to each client.
"The objective is a holistic experience. I don't want to be running in circles on a sports field."
A different philosophy...
Taking its origins in Japan, Forest Bathing was commonly used as a physiological and psychological exercise - shinrin-yoku. Guided by Anne-Marie Flammersfeld is a unique experience of immersion and mindfulness. You will be led through an appreciation of nature and connectivity with the beauty of the Engadin landscapes.
"I want to get out into nature and discover its wildness, unevenness, harmony, beauty, rough edges and surprises."
